Welcome to KateOnHoliday! As most of you know, I am a frequent flyer. Since I can't bring all of you with me on my travels, I've decided to start up a travel journal so you guys can follow me online! Hello Katherine, what beautiful pictures!! I especially liked the ones from the swamp. That will be definitely on our future agenda!! By the way, what are beignets? Love, Ms. Andrea

Miss Andrea! Thank you so much for visiting my site. I am so glad you liked the pictures. Beignets (bin-yays) are square shaped donut-like pastries that are famous in New Orleans. They taste very similar to funnel cakes.
